Today marks the 111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. As we honor the 1.5 million Armenians murdered by the Ottoman Empire across modern-day Turkey, Syria, and Armenia, we must refuse to let history repeat itself.
In 2020, the military forces of Azerbaijan and Turkey attacked the Armenian population in Nagorno-Karabakh. In 2023, Azerbaijan expelled over 100,000 Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh, continuing the genocidal campaign that had begun over 100 years prior.
On this day of remembrance, we reaffirm the right of the Armenian people — and all people — to freedom, safety, and self-determination.
.@TuckerCarlson asks THE question.
On his recent episode regarding religious freedom with guests Narek Karapetyan & Robert Amsterdam, Tucker Carlson questioned why the United States has remained inactive, and even funded Azerbaijan's ethnic cleansing of Armenians from Artsakh — a question Armenian-Americans have been asking for half a decade.
Pope Leo XIV: Stand with Armenia
Armenia - the world's first Christian nation (301 AD) - is today one of the planet's most at-risk countries, a blockaded, landlocked genocide survivor state struggling to survive on the very frontiers of global faith and freedom.
Another Armenian civilian hostage, Vicken Euljekjian, has been on hunger strike for 15 days in Baku jail. Since Azerbaijan announced the suspension of @ICRC operations in the country, contact with some of the Armenian hostages has been lost.

“My father, @RubenVardanyan_ , has no voice to tell his story. For more than 550 days, he’s been a political prisoner [in Azerbaijan] for simply advocating for the rights of Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh to live in their ancestral homeland and, simply, for being Christian.”
