And we finalized!
Happy merge all. This is a big moment for the Ethereum ecosystem. Everyone who helped make the merge happen should feel very proud today.
The "simulation hypothesis" is interesting not because I think we're living in a supercomputer but because it demonstrates how a creator of our world--in this case, a computer programmer--need not be divine or supernatural.
Rhetorical tip: you can often frame either side of a debate as being individualist or collectivist.
Example:
"Instead of worrying so much about our individual safety, we should focus more on our collective need to have a rich and enjoyable shared life that's worth living for"
Pro-tip: if you're "tired of having to explain the same thing 100 times" on the internet, write an article that explains your view clearly in long-form! Then in the future you, and others who see the issue the same way, can just keep linking to it.
Ya know, it’s pretty damn great to be able to talk to people from all walks of life and many countries on Twitter!
So much to be learned, even from the harshest critics.
Basically … I’m just saying I love all you crazy people ♥️♥️
Mathematics.
I love this animation by Daniel Piker (@KangarooPhysics). Each tiny dot follows a path, and takes 3.5 hours to return to its starting point. (You might think the dots are jittering or sparkling, but on closer inspection they're walking like ants.)
