@radiodraude@KWhiteCB@larrypeterson@IGHSAU@IHSAA This would make sense. It’s a media crew, a venue, and a scoreboard operator that get thrown together once a year for tournament basketball. The average viewer also doesn’t realize how many people it takes to produce a professional-looking broadcast.
@NDNSports1@CorsonCole Any insight as to why this happened then? If they played a big role in the Ames/DMC additions, then what changed in 6 months time? Was it getting turned down by Urbandale, PCM, et al?
@CorsonCole@NDNSports1 Could an argument be made for doing away with conferences all together? All of the seat swapping doesn’t seem ultimately beneficial. There has to be a better way.
@NDNSports1 Feels weird that the LHC had this big move to acquire Ames and DMC in the summer. And now a few months later, things seem in a totally different place.
@CorsonCole The problem is how they're doing the scoreboards. They're screen-capturing Track dashboard from a browser instead of getting using an overlay direct from Track. And Track requires you to broadcast to Flo to use their overlays. And Flo charges users a $150 subscription to view.
