Alberta’s complaints about federal interference in energy, restricted market access, unpredictable regulations, lopsided fiscal deals, weakened provincial powers, and ongoing political disrespect are not imaginary. But selecting Option 1 is not “standing up for Canada.”
It is accepting that the mistreatment and exploitation will continue.
It is choosing less influence over Alberta’s direction and a diminished future for the next generation. We can do better.
