Microplastics have been found in 17 out of 22 sample patient's blood & lungs. (also the ocean & air, but I like @madeleinemacg 's realistic perspective on this-- it'll be human health that motivates people to actually do something about this, not dying ecosystems & animals.)

That’s the headline, but there is so much more to the story— global methane emissions were higher in 2021 than ever before. (Methane warms the planet at a faster rate than other gases.)

the big headline: 🚨By the end of April we will hit 420 ppm (parts per million) by the end of the month which is the highest observed CO2 level in the past 4.5 million years. 🚨

If we want to read this data like a map, we need VCs to invest in ecosystem reforestation (and we need founders to come up with solutions) and we should keep hammering shipping/transportation, energy efficiency and carbon removal… no more scooters!
