So my favourite patch is the D.R.I. one because D.R.I. is my favorite band, and a mildly interesting fact is that the bio cancer patch used to be square shaped but i cut it up so it could fit on my pocket!

So to coincide with passing 100 followers, I wanted to celebrate one of favourite patch makers, @veganpatches! A few of our submissions over the last 2 weeks have featured one or more of Matt's work, including my own.

He draws and prints all of his patches and sells them on his @etsy store for like a dollar (I dunno it's 80p in UK money) each. They are great quality material and prints! They are also all earth friendly!

Also reading his etsy store page, he seems like a really awesome person.

This vest was my winter project. My old one was really starting to fall apart so I wanted another. I had been collecting up patches for a while so I just sat down and started hand sewing them until it stopped snowing.

There’s a few splats of “blood” on it as well. Those came from a fake severed head that Send More Paramedics threw into the crowd at their last London show. Good times!

Here’s my battle jacket. I bought it originally for a Marty McFly Halloween costume and repurposed it once that was over. The sleeves were cut off and all the patches are mainly freebies that came from Church of Fuck and Witch Hunter Records releases.

I chose a Carcass patch for the back because Heartwork is one of my favourite albums. I cycle the pin badges as and when I get new ones, but my current favourite is a Yamanote Line train badge that I got out of a capsule machine in Tokyo back in 2009.

I started making the jacket just to give myself a hobby, wanted to keep it simple black and grey with the iconic imagery, favourite patch is probably the Kvelertak one as I feel it stands out the most against the others. Still a work in progress!

My fav patch is the one from TJ Aberdeen the white one at in the middle of my shoulder blades. The guy who sent it Duncan is a total legend when it comes to Turbojugend and Merch.

My favourite pin is my Jessica Fletcher from Murder She Wrote giving the thumbs up because why not?
