🤝 NCB, in coordination with Judicial Academy, Cuttack organised a 2-day workshop on NDPS Act in Cuttack. Participants included judicial officers, prosecutors, Odisha Police, Excise & NCB officers.

📚 Leading domain experts shared valuable insights on evidentiary aspects in NDPS Act & emerging developments in drug law enforcement & prosecution during the sessions.

🔹 Hon’ble Justice Sh. S. K Sahoo, Former Chief Justice of the Patna High Court covered the appreciation of evidence common pitfalls leading to acquittals in NDPS cases while Sh. Bibhuti Bhusana Mishra, Ex-DG, NCB highlighted the challenges faced by Drug Law Enforcement Officers. The workshop also featured insights from Sh. Srinivasan Gopal, Ex Assistant Director, NACIN on the evolving legal landscape in narcotics, while Ms. Ashwini Gotyal, IPS, AIG, ANTF, Punjab Police shared best practices in drug law enforcement.

🔹 Zonal Director, NCB Bhubaneswar also shed light on Vision Document on Narcotics Control, emerging trends in narco-trafficking & latest legal developments.

ଆଜି ତିଗିରିଆ ବ୍ଲକ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ଗାନ୍ଧୀ ପଡ଼ିଆ ଠାରେ ଆୟୋଜିତ ବି.ଏସ.କେ.ୱାଇ- ନବୀନ କାର୍ଡ ବିତରଣ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ଯୋଗଦେଇ ହିତାଧିକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ଏହି କାର୍ଡ ବିତରଣ କରି ତାହାର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ଓ ଉପଯୋଗୀତା ବିଷୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିସ୍ତୃତ ଭାବେ ବୁଝାଇଥିଲି।

ଏହି କାର୍ଡ ଗ୍ରାମାଞ୍ଚଳର ସମସ୍ତ ଜନସାଧାରଣଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତମ ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ସେବା ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିବା ଦିଗରେ ଅନେକ ଭାବରେ ସହାୟକ ହେଉଛି।

ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ତିଗିରିଆ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ସମିତି ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷା, ଉପାଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷ, ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପରିଷଦ ସଭ୍ଯ/ସଭ୍ୟାଙ୍କ ସମେତ ବହୁ ନିର୍ବାଚିତ ପ୍ରତିନିଧି ଓ ହିତାଧିକାରୀମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ରହିଥିଲେ ।

A bench of CJI S A Bobde and Justices Dinesh Maheshwari and A S Bopanna, which had on June 18 restrained Rath Yatra, will shortly hear more than a dozen pleas seeking permission for Car Festival without congregation of devotees.

While mentioning for urgent hearing before Justice Arun Mishra Bench, SG Tushar Mehta said Centre was of the view that Rath Yatra can be held in a restricted manner though Odisha government had agreed with PIL petitioner for completely stalling it this year.
