Blue is a handsome boy who was adopted as a puppy from the rescue. Unfortunately, through no fault of his own, he is now looking for a new home. This has been a very difficult decision for his current owners, so we kindly ask that there be no negative comments.
Blue is approximately 2 years old (an exact date of birth can be provided). His mum was an English Bull Terrier and his dad an Olde English Bulldog. He is a loving and affectionate dog who has always lived with a child. However, as he can sometimes be quite boisterous, we feel he would be best suited to a home with children aged 10 and over.
Blue enjoys cuddles, relaxing on the sofa, and getting out for his walks. He also loves to play and spend time with his people. When out walking, he is able to pass other dogs calmly and maintain focus on his handler when given treats and guidance. Without direction he can become overexcited and struggle to cope with his surroundings, so he benefits from clear input and structure to help manage his excitement and frustration.
Blue has always been the only dog in the household and has not had much off-lead interaction with other dogs. For this reason, he is currently looking for a home where he can be the only dog. That said, with continued socialisation and slow introductions, we believe he may be able to be around other dogs in the future.
Blue has not been around cats or small animals, so he will need a home without them.
He displays many typical English Bull Terrier traits, so we would ideally like to find him a home with someone experienced with the breed, as they can be quite strong characters and are not for the faint-hearted.
Blue is currently located in Lincoln.

'These two dogs were dumped together and after some extensive research the pound kennels have traced the history (the powers of Facebook!)
Hatchi is Mum to Raven and Raven is Mum to the little pup we have here who was abandoned / dumped a day or two before the adults! I use the term adult loosely as RAVEN is a baby herself ... just 10 months old and already has had her first litter!!! Well .... no more for her now thankfully!
Hatchi has had many litters and been mated to her brother several times -
Sometimes I wonder how none of us are 'doing time'! Words fail me other than to say MORONS!
We were asked to take Raven who was very underweight and scared and when I realised Hatchi was her mother and 'found' pictures of them snuggled together on a sofa - the sensible (Or VERY MAD) decision was to offer to help both!

FINN - DEAF 💔💔💔
Finn is just rising a year old! He is currently in pound kennels and has been awaiting a kennel space with us for several weeks now.
He has had severe ear infections and these are currently being treated but he is believed totally deaf.
He is starting to become vocal around other dogs but was not for the first weeks ...
We really need to find him a foster home as soon as possible. He is wonderful with all people he has met including at the vets (although very sensitive around his ears at the moment), and we feel an only dog home OR a home with balanced female dog and the facility to separate (which is essential) whilst he settles and is further assessed.
IF you have large breed / shepherd experience and particularly if anyone has deaf dog experience, please consider offering help.
We really do want to get him out of kennels as soon as possible.
