Game Pass Essential: 5 hours

Imagine pulling into a drive-in, watching a movie under the stars, and then… NOT GOING HOME.

There are places around the US where you can actually spend the night at a drive-in. Imagine, sleeping in vintage campers, trailers, yurts, cabins or even a motel room with a view of the big screen.

Some of these places have been built around long-gone drive-ins. Others have kept the original screens alive for decades.

A few of the coolest:

🎬 A Colorado drive-in where you sleep in retro trailers and yurts beneath some seriously dark skies.

📺 A Colorado motel where you can literally watch the movie from your BED, with the audio piped into your room.

🚐 An Oregon campground built on the site of a former drive-in, where RVs can park right in front of the screen.

🎞️ A New York drive-in where you can stay in vintage trailers right on the theater grounds.

🏜️ A Utah resort where you can watch movies from actual vintage cars beneath the desert sky.

🍿 And a 1954 drive-in in Georgia where you can stay in restored 1960s campervans facing the screen.

Let's be real, this might be one of the coolest ways to experience a drive-in movie. Maybe we could convince Joe Bob and Darcy to stay overnight and then hit up Cracker Barrel the next day 😂

The drive-in isn't just a place to watch a movie. It's the whole damn experience.
