Twenty-five-year-old Somashri Manna suddenly fell critically ill and has been diagnosed with a rare, high-grade malignant brain #cancer (Embryonal cell carcinoma in the thalamus). She recently underwent an emergency brain surgery, but she is still fighting a fierce battle between life and death in the ICU.

Due to severe infections and her highly critical condition, she requires continuous ICU care, daily testing, expensive life-saving medicines, and upcoming chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

The Financial Crisis:
Somashri's father is a farmer. The family has exhausted all their resources, having already spent ₹16 Lakhs on her treatment. She urgently needs 6 to 8 cycles of chemotherapy, which, along with other medical charges, will cost an estimated ₹40 Lakhs more. Bearing this massive expense is almost impossible for her family alone.
