From transporting rocket parts on bicycles to etching history at the lunar South Pole.
On this day at Shiv Shakti Point, India proved no frontier is out of reach. 🇮🇳
Happy #NationalSpaceDay! Saluting the brilliance of @isro for turning audacious dreams into lunar footprints and inspiring a billion minds to reach for the stars.
Reviewed progress of the Bharat 6G Alliance today — with industry, academia and @DoT_India officers.
6G is not a distant technology. The standards are being written now, and India must contribute — in patents, in research, in the ideas that shape global networks.
We deliberated on priorities, assessed our indigenous research capabilities, and mapped the way forward.
DoT will be hosting a hackathon soon to surface the talent that will power this national mission.
India will not just deploy 6G. India will help define it.
Kicking off Day 4 at #IndiaAIImpactSummit2026 examining the convergence of AI and 6G.
In a Nasscom-convened session, leaders from government and industry discussed how next-generation telecom networks must evolve to support AI-driven workloads.
Key takeaways:
AI embedded in network design: Unlike earlier generations where AI was layered on for optimization, 6G roadmaps integrate “ubiquitous intelligence” across core, radio, edge, and device layers from the outset.
Changing traffic patterns: AI applications generate uplink-heavy, latency-sensitive traffic. Network planning must account for real-time inference requirements and cost-efficient token exchange.
Distributed inferencing: With growing edge compute and intelligent endpoints, inferencing will be distributed. The network’s role expands to coordinating compute across centralized and decentralized nodes.
The discussion referenced ongoing efforts such as the Bharat 6G Alliance and highlighted the importance of industry-policy coordination in shaping future network standards and infrastructure readiness.

BSNL’s turnaround is finally taking shape.
The PSU achieved 93% of its Q2 FY26 revenue target, posting Rs 5,347 crore.
ARPU climbed 12% QoQ to Rs 91, with leading circles crossing Rs 200.
Under @Officejmscindia leadership, BSNL’s story is shifting from revival talk to measurable growth signalling one of the most disciplined comebacks in India’s telecom sector. 🇮🇳

Will be in Jharsuguda, Odisha, to inaugurate developmental works worth over Rs. 50,000 crore. In a historic feat, over 97,500 telecom towers across India would be commissioned. These have been built using local technologies and will boost connectivity in remote areas, border areas and those affected by Maoism.
