DARWIN PEOPLE
Protest at Mercure 5pm every day with the Darwin 15.
EVERYONE who possibly can, please make time to show solidarity for one hour 5pm this Saturday 27 Feb.
Exactly one year torture of the Darwin 15 in Darwin.
Disgraceful.
Make it clear.
We don't accept this cruelty.
Australia’s bipartisan policy of mandatory detention is immoral & illegal under numerous international agreements. It should have been abolished years ago & my Bill promises to do so now. Full speech here: https://t.co/ROQQe2VkcZ #auspol#politas@ASRC1
Disgraceful, total $1,200,000 per day to continue to torture refugees still banished on Nauru since 2013. And to think the Minister wants to send people transferred here for medical treatment back to Nauru, to increase Canstruct profits at tax payer cost, and torture people more.
Canstruct’s contract extension to June 30 takes the Murphy family’s trauma jackpot to $1.4 billion since September 2017. That’s $10,000 per person per day for the 120 destroyed souls on Nauru. No wonder Minister Dutton didn’t announce it. https://t.co/5vzDuzaa9u
Enough is enough already!
Let these people go @AlexHawkeMP !!!!
Look at their faces. They’ve had enough persecution from this government. Let them go. #SetThemFree.
Protests continue for families in Australian detention for 8 years. #Nauru then #Darwin.
The refugees Australia sent to PNG and Nauru, some still living there in danger, some still detained in Australia: “They’re the final scapegoats of a failed and brutal policy.”
