I first thought that data ownership remaining with one company was the simplest route but the caveat is when a countries law becomes involved. Access and authentication should remain seperate. Either that or utilise 0 knowledge solutions.

Account security in this day and age feels so complex it’s easy to miss the basics. Physical defenders require more attention in a world where it’s easy to blindside yourself amongst software. IP cameras, 2FA codes etc should be the first line of defence.
