Introducing Trace.
Trace is our flagship, public audit and search platform where every asset permanently registered on DATA Network can be accessed.
AI Labs can search every human contributed photo or voice sample and drill into any individual record to see the full audit trail.
Trace is where labs and regulators can filter by dataset, app, data type, modality, and time to verify data provenance so AI models can be trained with confidence.
Today, Story becomes The DATA Foundation.
$IP is now $DATA. The Story Network is now DATA Network, tracking 1B+ data records with a singular mission: to become the trust layer for all AI training data.
Welcome to The DATA Foundation.
The best voice AI model depends on the audio you test it on.
In SONAR’s Bengali case study, 8 models were evaluated across 6 datasets using the PSDN Score, a composite metric that blends word accuracy, character accuracy, and semantic similarity.
No single model held the top spot across every dataset.
Privacy is a core part of UX in many everyday apps.
Messages.
Credentials.
Personal notes.
Selective sharing.
AI memory.
And yet, most software still struggles with sensitive data.

CDR(Confidential Data Rails) 已在 @StoryProtocol 测试网上线。
Confidential Data Rails (CDR) has launched on Story testnet, marking a major step toward secure, controlled use of sensitive data in AI workflows on @StoryProtocol.
CDR enables organizations to use encrypted data without exposing it. Instead of transferring raw data, data owners define the conditions under which it can be accessed or computed on, and data is only unlocked when those conditions are met.
What this unlocks:
▹ Collaboration on sensitive datasets (healthcare, financial, enterprise) without compromising ownership, privacy, or regulatory compliance
▹ Data that remains encrypted and under owner control while still usable for model training, analytics, and insights
▹ Access enforced through programmable policies and secure execution environments, reducing the need for trust between parties
CDR also complements recent progress from @psdnai, with Poseidon enabling the supply of verifiable, consented data and CDR enabling that data to be securely accessed and used under programmable conditions. Combined with Story’s onchain infrastructure for ownership and licensing, this forms a foundation for legally compliant, data-driven AI systems at scale.
every AI model you use was trained on your work. your tweets. your code. your photos. your voice.
the industry called it "publicly available" (or slid it into their terms of use) and moved on. but that initial wave of "free" data is drying up.
AI models need constantly new real-world data: how people speak, work, move, decide. and that data has to be contributed.
contribution means consent. consent means ownership. ownership means IP.
suddenly... "data is IP" makes a lot more sense.
we see this a lot through Poseidon.
the buyers are asking for real, verified, consented, data around how humans actually behave. and they're willing to pay for it in a way the old scrape economy never required.
we've been building the rails for this. something you can use, not just read about. very soon.
Physical AI needs egocentric data: what humans actually see, hear, and do in the real world.
And it’s some of the hardest, most valuable data to source, making it the holy grail of IP.
The alpha exists in the real world.
From K-pop to patents, Korean RWAs will run on IP.
In the world's second largest crypto market by KRW trading volume, Story will be Seoul Exchange’s exclusive blockchain infra for the next 3 years.
The next wave of AI depends on data that can’t be exposed.
Now with Confidential Data Rails (CDR), that constraint disappears.
▸ Data stays encrypted
▸ Access is defined upfront
▸ Secure pre-conditions held for decryption
