AI coding assistants ๐ค like Cursor are not the 10x productivity boosters for data engineers and not their replacements, as some talking heads claim. But they can be 10x multipliers for another group of folks - the ๐ customers of ๐ท data engineers!

Is there a better way to get best results from AI models than buying a bigger and meaner AI model? Some say the answer is "Compound AI Systems"? What do you say?

We are no fucking โsmall ex-Soviet satelliteโ.
We are Czechia, a proud 10-million country whose President does phone calls with President of Taiwan and we just got about a million artillery shells to Ukrainian defenders while Germany and France do a pissing contest over egos.
The European Council has decided to open accession negotiations with Ukraine & Moldova.
#EUCO granted candidate status to Georgia. And the EU will open negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina once the necessary degree of compliance with the membership criteria is reached and has invited the commission to report by March with a view to taking such a decision.
A clear signal of hope for their people and for our continent.
Today I got a call inviting me to consider a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: to become the interim CEO of @OpenAI. After consulting with my family and reflecting on it for just a few seconds, I accepted. It was crazy. They literally called me and were like "who is this?" And I was like "ha ha, what?" And then they gave me the job and hung up. I took the gig because, due to the birth of my triplets this morning (true story), I need all the cash I can get. Seriously. I'm fucked for money. All three of these kids expect to go to private school and one of them is named Elliot so you know he can't be poor. Anywhoo, I took this job because I have absolutely no idea what AI does. I dont even know where our offices are. My plans are to drive through the wall of an Apple store and start giving orders to the first nerd I can smell. I told the board all of this. They know what I'm about. They also know that I'm certifiably insane, casually (CASUALLY!!) smoke meth and don't know what the GPT stands for in that Chatbot Siri thing we have. When they heard this, the board gave me a raise and some free meth. What a deal! Ultimately, I plan to step down this evening. Thanks, all.
