🚨 WHAT IS HAPPENING TO PEOPLE THIS WEEK?
Two people are dead and eight others were wounded after multiple gunmen reportedly opened fire on a crowd at a block party in Trenton, New Jersey, early Sunday morning. More than 50 shell casings were recovered from the scene.
Another shooting.
Another crowd running for their lives.
Another family receiving the phone call nobody should ever receive.
And after everything we have seen this week, I have to ask:
WHAT IS HAPPENING TO PEOPLE?
Switzerland.
New Jersey.
Schools.
Parties.
Streets.
Different places. Different circumstances.
But the same terrifying result:
BLOODSHED.
It almost feels as if VIOLENCE IS IN THE AIR.
What changed?
Why does human life seem to be becoming so cheap to some people?
When did pulling a trigger become easier than walking away?
When did anger become worth another person's life?
These aren't just statistics.
Behind every number is somebody's son.
Somebody's daughter.
Somebody's father.
Somebody who was supposed to come home.
And perhaps the question we should be asking much more seriously is:
WHAT IS HAPPENING INSIDE PEOPLE BEFORE THE VIOLENCE EVER REACHES THE STREET?
Because guns don't create hatred.
HUMAN HEARTS DO.
📖 “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”
— Matthew 24:12 (KJV)
THIS WEEK FEELS DIFFERENT.
And if violence really is spreading this easily…
WE SHOULD ALL BE ASKING WHY.
@Teaseryy In Self Defense, ABSOLUTELY!! This is a clear case of Self Defense! You don't get to put your hands on someone then hide behind being a female! Wrong is WRONG! She had a true FAFO moment!
