I doubt that granting individual posts a content-based #PublicValue status will calm the online free speech debate - quite the opposite. Whether it actually strengthens #FreedomOfExpression is equally questionable. And yes, it also seems to pre-empt the ongoing #AVMSD review.

The #AIOmnibus deal is a constructive step toward making the #AIAct more workable in practice: less double regulation and more realistic timelines. But it also shows how difficult “simplification” has become in EU digital policy. The real test starts now: #implementation.
