The death of the defender of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), Allamah Mir Hamid Husain al-Hindi, the author of “Aqabat al-Anwar”, in Lucknow, in the year 1306 AH.

Safar 17: The martyrdom of Imam Ali bin Musa Al-Ridha (peace be upon them)
According to a narration, he (a.s) was poisoned on the 17th of Safar on Tuesday in the year 203 AH. Al-Ma’mun poisoned him in grapes and he (peace be upon him) was 51 years old.
