🚨BRUTAL ATTACK: A Black teenage boy was beaten unconscious, choked, spat on, and hit in the face with a bottle during a violent group attack in Lenoir County that was caught on video and shared online.

The victim suffered a chipped tooth and broken blood vessels in his eye. Three people have already been arrested:

• Ashton Clark, 18 — felony assault by strangulation and conspiracy ($50,000 bond)

• Landon Harris, 19 — cyberbullying and conspiracy ($2,500 bond)

• A 17-year-old juvenile — felony assault by strangulation and conspiracy

Six more juveniles have been identified and will face charges including assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy.

A girl seen punching the victim will also be charged with assault.

The Lenoir County Sheriff said everyone involved will be held accountable.

19-year-old LaVena Johnson, a US Army Private First Class, was found dead in her tent while stationed in Iraq in 2005.

Her death was officially ruled a suicide.

She had a broken nose, a black eye, loose teeth, burns from a corrosive chemical on her genital area, and a gunshot wound that many people felt did not fit suicide.

There were also reports of bloody footprints outside her living quarters.

Some later suspected the chemical burns were meant to destroy DNA evidence of a sexual assault.

To this day, her family believes the US Department of Defense covered up what really happened
