Every day, innocent children are being kidnapped, women are being abducted and subjected to horrific s*xual violênce, men are being taken from their families, and the elderly who should be spending their later years in peace are living in fear.
This is not just a security issue, it is a humanitarian crisis. Behind every headline is a child robbed of safety, a woman carrying unimaginable trauma, a family waiting for a loved one to return, and communities torn apart by fear.
We cannot normalize this. We cannot become so accustomed to these stories that they stop shocking us.
Every Nigerian deserves the right to live, work, travel, and sleep without fear of being kidnapped, attacked or violated.
The protection of lives and dignity must remain a national priority. The silence is costly and the victims deserve more than our sympathy, they deserve action!!!!!
