@chamath The point of the Billionaire Tax Act is to enact a ONE-TIME 5% tax on BILLIONAIRES, and can only be amended in ways consistent with that purpose. Making the tax permanent or expanding it to people who are not billionaires is not consistent with the purpose, so it’s not possible.
