When you were Muslim? lol. You were never a Muslim. You are just repeating a worn-out missionary script that relies on selective quoting and a total lack of historical context.
First of all, you are trying to frame the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) statement as a random, bitter emotional outburst on his deathbed. It wasn't.
In fact, it was a profound, prophetic warning to his own nation about the core concept of monotheism (Tawhid). He saw how previous communities had deified their prophets and righteous people, turning their burial sites into shrines and places of worship, which eventually led them back into idolatry.
His final anxiety was protecting the purity of worship for God alone. He wasn't crying out for personal revenge against everyday Jews and Christians; instead, he was issuing a strict legislative decree to his followers: Do not worship me after I die. This was what he said!
Secondly, if you want to talk about a man's heart during his final moments, why did you conveniently leave out his actual last words?
According to multiple authentic narrations, including Sahih al-Bukhari, the very last words to leave his lips as he chose to pass from this world were:
"O Allah, the Highest Companion" (Allahumma al-Rafiq al-A'la). His final focus was entirely on his transition to the Divine presence.
Again, your claim that there was "no forgiveness, no reconciliation, no peace" in his life completely ignores the historical reality of his triumphs. Let me educate you a bit.
When the Prophet Muhammad marched back into Makkah as a victorious conqueror, he had absolute power over the people who had spent two decades torturing his companions, starving his family, and trying to assassinate him.
He did not execute them. Instead, he stood before them and asked,:
"What do you think I am going to do to you?" They begged for mercy, and he replied with the exact words of Prophet Yusuf (Joseph) to his brothers: "No blame will there be upon you today. Go, for you are free."
He gave global history its greatest masterclass in absolute forgiveness when he was at the absolute peak of his political and military power, not when he was helpless.
Khan is trying to manufacture a staggering difference by comparing the theology of a cosmic sacrifice to the final legislative protections of a Prophet who successfully established a state based on the worship of One God.
If you are going to critique a faith you claim to have left, at least have the intellectual honesty to present the whole picture instead of hiding behind a curated, emotional narrative. Nobody will buy that from you.
Allah knows best.
this was July 8th 2023 at CCC hosted by @womenindefi_org at Mauve 21 in Ibadan.
I had been in web3 for over a year already, fully locked in on Discord with Asians.
attending that event was my first contact with CTNG & showed me how much more was possible.
since then, I’ve attended about 88 international web3 events, over 50 locally,
hosted over 100 web3 events of my own, and onboarded over 20,000 Africans into Web3.
the future is bright!
The most infuriating sight!!! A policeman gruesomely murders a man in broad daylight in Delta. This man is clearly restrained and poses no threat whatsoever. What kind of ANIMALISTIC behaviour is this @PoliceNG ?!!!
“He pose no threat, he was already tied…are they trying to conceal something or a confession that we do not know?… when he was trying to confess they k!lled him… they k!lled him further in the police station… this story look like more than meets the eyes to me”
~Rufai Oseni
This gave me so much mixed feelings. The video is gruesome. He was pleading with the officers to spare his life and he will take them to the friend who sent him to deliver the package. The fear in his voice as he pleaded. His brother was also killed by the Nigerian police force in 2022. Why would you kill a suspect who wasn’t posing any threat? Why not arrest and conduct investigation and let Justice take its due course? What kind of gruesome murder is this in broad day light? Two brothers from the same family gone. This is what the Nigerian police happily say whenever they are on duty. “I will kill you and nothing will happen”.
For them to have done this in public and broad daylight do you know the number of innocent people they must have killed? The Nigerian police is a big shame.
Why does the Nigerian Police Force keep recruiting criminals and handing them weapons? It's almost as if they don't do any background checks whatsoever because the level of unprofessionalism is just so depressing. Stop allowing any dick and harry sign up and start wielding deadly weapons at the expense of the average citizen.
Do they receive any at all training on the rights of citizens, human rights, or like...basic stuff on how not to be a mad man and be a professional police officer instead? Do they even get to really understand what the role of the police is in any society? How can a police officer who's in possession of such a lethal weapon be ignorant of these things or be so bold to disregard them in broad daylight and in the presence of several other people? What kind of environment enables that in the Nigerian Police Force and in Nigeria in general? He had all the time in the world to stop while trying to rack his kabu kabu AK, the others around had all the time in the world to call him to order, no one thought to take action or caution him after he fired the first shot and missed, etc. Failure on so many levels. Like it's a very simple thing. Why are you trying to execute the guy in the first place? Why does a police officer not understand the importance of due process?
Also, why do they need to carry AKs with multiple extended mags bundled together with that red cello tape, as if they're some kind of cult group, or a Mexican cartel, or like they're in a warzone or something? it is completely unnecessary. Even in the US where the average citizen could have all sorts of lethal weapons, because of the right to bear arms, the police don't walk around carrying AKs for normal patrols, traffic stops, etc.
Knowing how irresponsible and unprofessional the Nigerian Police can be, merely coming across them during regular daily runs is traumatizing for the average citizen. Sometimes these people just look like armed robbers who are practically legally allowed to rob and extort people.
The Nigerian police needs serious reforms. I see the efforts and improvements being made but we still have a long way to go.
The First time i witnessed the Nigerian Police Execute someone this way Live was 5 years ago.
It's was around 8pm and we were at a Street where a construction company I was working for then was doing some road works.
They Pursued two guys on a a motorcycle ( they also used motorcycles in the pursuit ).
Those guys fell down and abandoned their motorcycle and ran into the street, these officers immediately pursued them and opened fire not minding if a stray bullet would hit others.
One of those guys managed to escape while another went to hide inside one old lady Compound.
The lady came out to scream and that's how the officers went in and got the Guy.
One of those officers actually fell down and injured himself while running after those two Guys.
Same officer pulled that guy out himself, slapped him and made him kneel down.
By then a Large crowd had gathered with the officers surrounding the guy caught. Then in the words of that particular Policeman, He told the guy "Say your Last Prayers"
Bro this guy cocked his AK-47 and shot this guy 3 times. Clean execution in front of everyone.
They left his lifeless body there likewise.
I have also had history with Blood sucking Police officers who cocked a gun at me when raiding a PS game house in 2017.
God Help Us in this Country.
