Pheasant hunting in PA!!!
Attended a veterans hunt with Pheasants Forever North Central PA #630. A first class event in honor of our military. Time spent afield, with old and new friends, is time well spent. Thanks to the volunteers and everyone that made this happen.

Been watching cooking shows and found a great recipe site, both providing inspiration. Tonight’s dinner was grilled venison steak flatbread, with a Gorgonzola base, sautéed mushrooms & onions, and some spring mix. Couldn’t find arugula 🤷🏼‍♂️. Hope everyone had a great dinner.

Ran into a Red Fox on my Sunday, sweat it out from the weekend, run. He gave zero foxes about me or anything else around him. So much wildlife on and around @FortKnoxKY

Came home to a wet basement. Pipe burst on leave and postal service notified housing. Maintenance fixed the pipe, then my awesome neighbors did damage control. Love my Knox community! Now going through bags of wet pro-gear and letting everything dry out. Could have been worse.

In Fort Carson for a work trip. Had some time this afternoon and followed the advice of many friends and did the incline. Going from 500ft to 8,500ft in 2 days shouldn’t be an issue… right. Well the climb was steep and a needed gut check.

Dove season opener on Fort Knox didn’t disappoint. Limited out in 90 minutes and headed to the house to clean birds.
Going to try and repeat tomorrow.
