10 years ago, I looked like a boy. These haircuts took me straight back to secondary school at Anglican Commercial Grammar School, Oritamefa, Ibadan.

They had a rule, your hair was going, whether you liked it or not and I wished my tears had the power to change the narrative...

Anglican Commercial Grammar School made me find a side of my beauty I didn't know existed.

But because I remembered what it felt like to pick up the pen in a broken season and discover that God had been waiting there the whole time, ready to write something through me that I could never have written alone.

5️⃣ A Christian creative community where Christian writers could learn to write with skill and spirit together.

Where "write what God is saying" wouldn't feel like a foreign language anymore.

That's why I built Godly Scribes Academy...

4️⃣ I literally kept meeting the same person, over and over again.

They had the calling. They just needed a safe place to answer it.

That's the gap I couldn't stop thinking about.

Not another writing course
Not a generic content playbook
But a Christian creative community.

3️⃣ I kept meeting the writer who had something burning inside them but couldn't find the words.

The believer who felt called to write but thought their voice was too ordinary.

The creative who loved God but didn't know how faith and storytelling could live in the same sentence

2️⃣ But I picked up the pen anyway and something happened. The words didn't just come out of me. They came through me.

That's when I understood that writing, real writing, is not just craft. It's communion.

It's the place where your faith meets your voice and transforms lives.

1️⃣ It was 2017. I wasn't trying to build anything. My aunt handed me a blank page, not metaphorically. A literal, empty page and said, "Write what God is saying to you." I almost laughed. How could I hear what He was saying when I couldn't even hear myself?
