This is a young Bishop Andronik on the day he was ordained to the diaconate in Jordanville. Beside him is Fr. Michael who was ordained priest on the same day. We were all young once.
Shelter security footage from kennel 4. They call him Ghost he's been waiting for a home for 7 months. Honey arrived three days ago, too weak to stand, too scared to eat.
The volunteers put them together that night. The camera caught what happened next.
Bishop Andronik took me to Walmart and purchased these shoes for me at Walmart. They turned out to be very comfortable. I wear them pretty much everywhere.
I was told by a priest on Sunday, when lay people repose for them we read the psalter. But for clergy we read the gospel. So we should pray for them by reading the gospel or psalter according to thier office. Especially 9th day, 40th etc. Pray for them as we wish people do 4 us.
If there was an antithesis to toxic Saint Symeon the New Theologian is that. Like being around some people makes you worse being around him motivates you to do better.
That Ben Gvir post that everyone is sharing aghast? It is a perfectly normal and common Israeli view, held by millions. It is the Israeli mainstream, and not extreme in the least. I grew up hearing that endlessly
I'm glad people are starting to see the lunatics that run Israel.
Ben Gvir praises Jewish terrorists (hung up pictures of Baruch Goldstein in his house), and fought to enact a hanging law against "suspected Palestinian terrorists" (all arabs are terrorists to this guy) within the Israeli kangaroo courts that offer little to no due process.
He popped champagne in the government building after it was passed and his wife gave him a cake with a noose on it.
The worst part?
Gvir is the equivalent of the Attorney General and DHS Secretary in America combined and has enormous power.
This is how the Israeli government thinks.
Was reading this history of rocor. It is an interesting outline to which many questions can be asked. My knowledge of what has transpired is extremely limited. I need to spend more time reflecting on the past... https://t.co/HMWqzjUuE2
🇺🇦 As predicted, Ukrainian media and Western outlets are blaming Russia for the fire at the Pechersk Lavra. Here's what the evidence actually shows.
Aerial photographs published by Ukrainian media show no debris field around the cathedral — a telltale sign of a direct explosive impact. The roof burned. The walls and golden domes remain standing. That is not what a precision strike looks like.
The Russian MoD has now confirmed what the footage already suggested: a US-made Patriot air defence missile struck the Lavra. The ministry also noted that Western countries have been supplying Kiev with missiles past their expiration dates — a possible factor in the malfunction.
Expect the comment section to be flooded with angry Ukraine supporters. But we'll address them in the next post.
