It left the bbc due to a bidding war between tv channels to secure further series, so I wouldn't like to think what itv paid

@DoctorWhoPN I noticed when the "Watch" tv channel was repeating doctor who for a couple of years, they avoided series 1-4 every time! And now bbc3 are doing the same! Very strange 🤔 when I love series 1-4!

@CrispeeePro The build ups on both seasons keep leading up to nothing which is such a shame. The 2 rannis had such a quick disappointing ending when both actresses were amazing! I would have loved to seen them for longer. And Omega - there was no point at all bringing Omga back for that 🙄

@DoctorWhoPN Whenever I looked up online to see where doctor who was doing on disney+ throughout the series (close to the broadcast dates), I rarely saw it in the top ten, nor long top 5. But I don't know how accurate the source was. But seeing disney put this information out, I am so happy!!

@only_ohm_again @set_dw I think the new Doctor who series has been filming further in advance, because it has required a lot more time in the editing suite with the higher budget production. Sure I read some where Russell says it takes 12 months edit now for a year of episodes with the higher production

@DanWFA I tried finding the actual radio times interview that this article refers to, but I think it is either premium locked or was in the magazine to see the full article which says the August quote. But if what is said here is true, they reference the script quote here:

@DanWFA I would have thought given the time they have had to wait around, that bbc budget friendly versions of scripts or stories have been prepared, so when they get the green or red light, that they can still act on it with either budget given. Unless...

@DanWFA I read in a previous article that the series 3 scripts had to be done by August for prep, so I'm hoping once they get the green light, they can get to it quite quickly, if actor availability is good 👏 it's really nice seeing the high budget episodes, just a shame that the ..
