There is a big difference in generic 'mental health' and mental illness. HW has the latter. Not condoning what he did, but he will hopefully get the treatment he clearly needs. Self-righteous media have learnt nothing from what happened to Caroline Flack.

Inevitably the debate about Huw Edwards rolls on and to some extent it's become 'for' or 'against'. Having had my own mental illness crisis a few years ago I sympathise with him. I lost my rational thinking and did some stupid things. 1/2.

@devonviews Starmer stated unequivocally that he would resign if he was issued with a penalty. He wasn't. He didn't. The Tory party of sleaze prefer to be hounded out of office rather than resign when they're caught red-handed. Completely gutless.

@ChrisLangWriter @TVSanjeev @SineadKeenan Loved this series as much as any other (and I questioned if it could possibly work without Nicola W). Brilliant writing, casting and acting. Some fantastic scenes, particularly the Khan/James 'reset'. Just superb from start to finish. Please give the backpack a name in series 6.

I deliberately didn't binge watch #Unforgotten as Happy Valley worked so well building tension waiting a week for the next episode and I'm so pleased I did. Superb from start to finish. Wasn't sure it could work without Nicola Walker but it certainly did! Bravo @ChrisLangWriter

#HappyValley is the best thing I've ever seen on screen in my 63 years. You can keep every 'great' film and any actor or actress you like. Nobody beats Sarah Lancashire. Nobody.
