@_YorkshireLass_@angieabb100 This one is half a mile from the ground on Chorley New Road with a straight walk down hill half a mile to the ground. Follow the crowd. £6 (for my grandsons school charity) when I last used it a year ago.
Freddie is looking down and giving y'all a standing ovation. That's spectacular!😍💗

Scammers just tried an ‘Account Takeover’ on my EE number. After some setup verbals they caused a text to be sent from EE including a code to ‘authorise a sim change’. I got the code but wouldn’t repeat it when asked and at that point the scam fails. Let’s be careful out there!
@YesterdaysBrit1 Strong though! Collision I went to was a Lada into rear of a Ford, which was written off. The Lada? The front badge fell off, no other damage.
@drac_uk@SamSBGBWFC@talkSPORT@paulross New paperback book on Nat arrived this morning! Went to put it on my shelves and found I already had a pristine hardback copy that I had never read! 🙄
@PD_1972@BWFCimages@OfficialBWFC I got this a couple of weeks ago and read it in a few days. If you lived through those times you’ll love the book. It takes you right back and reliving the games! I’m currently a good way into ‘Measured Spirit’ about Sam’s reign as manager, which is equally as good.
As a 71yr old I completely support the Road Safety Strategy with compulsory sight tests for 70+yrs. In my 31yrs Police service there were many times I found drivers who failed the 20m test at 10m or under. Lowering the drink drive limit is also long overdue.
@StanchionBooks@PitchPublishing@OfficialBWFC Just finished Chris Evans Total Belief re Bruce Riochs years at BWFC. Superb! I was at most of if not quite all the games covered and reliving them and the times via this book drew me instantly back into that era. It was emotional! Measured Spirit & Big Sam up next.
@geraintjohn_ My Jane died in ‘21 and I put her ashes in a place we loved to walk. I also got permission to plant a fruit tree there. It’s a mile from home & I go most days and talk to her. I find it to be a comfort. There’s no wrong way to do this, Geraint, whatever keeps you close.
@BBCNews Re your item on Calling Blighty today, my dad was out in Burma (and India) the whole war and came home in ‘46. A crew filmed him for CB but the film remained unknown by family for 75yrs until found for me. He died when I was 10 - I had no idea ! https://t.co/iWfsSLwGVZ
@LoobyDooby22 Ordered mine on Friday, down for delivery tomorrow. First kit purchase since Burnden Disaster shirt and the one before that had Reebok across the front.
Shocking this:
The diary of Sapper Storey has been taken from the Pegasus Museum on June 6th this year. This unique document was a recent addition. to the museum. Fortunately the family still have the original documents, but are distressed that it has been taken.

@almurray I mentioned the Calling Blighty project in your earlier “What my dad did in the war” thread. My dad was out east inc Burma the whole war, only home in ‘46. I was 10 when he died but film of him waited there 75yrs to be found for me! Well worth a search if dad served in Burma.
