You @gmpolice, have publicly stated that ‘four men were arrested at Manchester Airport for assault and affray’ in relation to a series of violent altercations that took place on July 26th.

Chief Constable of GMP Stephen Watson has stated that a criminal investigation is ongoing thus triggering Schedule 1(1) and (4) Contempt of Court Act 1981.

Section 1 of the CCA 1981 makes it clear that ‘strict liability rules’ apply.

Our questions are:
1.Were any of the four men released on bail?
2.If not on bail, were they released under investigation?

Either way Schedule 1 subsection 7(ca) is engaged and there is, therefore, prima facia evidence that solicitor Aamer Anwar, in holding his press conference today, is in breach of s.2 CCA1981.
@attorneygeneral, it is your lawful obligation to bring about contempt proceedings, would you concur?

All of this is important, not just for the conduct and discharge of justice in this matter but also so that you can substantiate the assertion there is no #TwoTeirPolicing
