@Jackmartin127@krisvancleave@flightradar24 Except it wasn't another 10 feet lower, and the plane was in crosswind conditions, as you can see by the images from the airport surveillance camera that shows the left wing down due to winds. Runway 29 is the crosswind runway at EWR. It also doesn't have an ILS.
@JacquiDeevoy1@backwoodsohm He definitely wasn't "intrigued". He wanted to go about his day in peace and not have to answer ridiculous questions.
You're on the internet, so I'm sure you have a working copy of Google. Look it up.
@tvheidihatch No, it's *not* an engine inspection panel. It's on the pylon. The only issue with it missing is likely a fuel penalty due to increased aerodynamic drag.
@LouisDeletraz UA7173 is *not* operated by United. That's not a thing. It's a Copa Airlines flight from O'Hare to Panama City. Operated by Copa, code shared with United. So don't assume a cabin crew member stole your earpods.
@wagamamaUSA is your Arlington, VA location ever going to open? It was scheduled to open in 2022, yet here we are in 2024 and still....nada. π€·π»ββοΈ
@Bank_Partners how long does it take to get paid when you're NHS bank staff working for you? My Mum has worked for you since April 3rd and you've not paid her as yet. After she did 44 years service with the NHS. That's outrageous.
@bostonpilot85@JTTsteve Hahahahahaha....if you fly half way, you still have half your fuel, plus holding and contingency. So enough to return to point of origin, or destination.
@exnuke33@8NewsNow There's no flight engineers on modern passenger aircraft. The "other guy" is flying the plane, but there's nothing wrong with having a "second guy" in a high-workload situation. It was a qualified pilot working the radios. What's the issue? It's aviation. Safety first.
@exnuke33@8NewsNow Imagine if you'd actually read the linked story and understood the other airline pilot assisted one of the two Southwest pilots onboard... π€
