Getting back to photography after 40+ years in engineering. Usually use the PBWA method - photography by walking around. All photos are my own except RTs.
@CarlBovisNature Well, we have two similar birds here in the US but this bird appears to be a slightly different color. Our two birds are the Red-breasted Nuthatch and the slightly larger White-breasted Nuthatch. They spend most of their time upside down.
@EricLDaugh Check out Promethean Updates on YouTube. These ladies have the complete story on what Trump is really doing and why. I don't know if they have a presence here on X. Yes, Monroe Doctrine but also British elites, NATO, and why we find ourselves in endless wars. Check it out.
@BelvideBirding Very nice photos. Owls seem to behave like this often. Barred owls are known to preen each other while sitting side by side in close contact on a branch. I have seen a short video of this but have yet to observe it myself. One can only hope.
A Ruby-crowned Kinglet with actual visible "ruby" crown. A lifer for me. It's not the best photo (low light and noisy), but I'm happy to post it anyway.
Taken 10-11-2024.

@UKTwitcher Such a nice photo of one of my favorite birds. I am pleased to see that you can enjoy them there, in the UK, too. The Yellow Warbler is perhaps the only warbler to actually breed here in Ohio. I always look forward to their return every spring.
@Photos2Print The White-crowned Sparrows only pass through Ohio twice each year during migration. It's such a pleasure when they are here. They all wear bike helmets, but don't seem to have bikes. Curious.
