“Every child deserves a champion, an adult who will never give up on them. Is this job tough? You betcha. But it is not impossible. We’re educators. We’re born to make a difference.” https://t.co/2SzmARLRHV
It’s time to take a stand for what teachers deserve.
Every day, educators across the country give students their very best.
That needs to change.
Teachers deserve better.

What are your students good at?
That’s actually a really important question to consider. I think you’ll make more progress with kids when you’re trying to build on their strengths instead of just trying to fix their weaknesses.
Monday’s agenda:
1) Engage kids
2) Respect kids
3) Inspire kids
4) Meet kids where they are
5) Encourage kids to follow their passions
6) Show kids they are capable
7) Rinse and repeat
“You do not shape school culture in your office, & you certainly do not build it w/ emails & memos. You change culture through relationships...one conversation at a time. You shape it in the halls, in the classrooms...”~@SteeleThoughts@ToddWhitaker, #EssentialTruthsforPrincipals
When students ask if they can hang a kindness poster in your classroom, the answer is always “YES!” Love how these fifth grade students are showing others how to be a Caring Cardinal! #passionforkindness#tlap#EduAR
The Teach Better Book focuses on how an educator can effectively plan & utilize best practice strategies. Whether it be the implementation of student goal setting & reflection or the backwards design, educators must strive to positively affect student success. #LeadLAP
Before they buy into your vision, they have to first buy into you. Whether it’s a teacher in a classroom, a coach on a ball field, or a principal in a faculty meeting… good leaders never shortchange the process of establishing credibility and building rapport.
