@KnoxMcCoy@OUAchievers As the NBA is tiptoeing towards adding expansion teams, what if Adam Silver drops a rule that the first two players chosen for these new teams must be professional athletes from sports other than basketball…who are your first two picks and why?
Thanks to @robbyburns for giving me a shoutout! I hope this helps at least one other music teacher realize grades in the music classroom are a foreign plant that was transplanted from another forest.

In addition, my first book, "Unlocking Student Creativity through Composition," is now available through @fflatbooks. In the book, I talk about how the Composers' Guild was established and how anyone can get started on their own musical composition journey. Check it out!
Tomorrow is a big day! The #composersguild is celebrating our 10th Anniversary Student Composition Recital by featuring 7 new student compositions (plus 1 special alumni composition!) performed by 4 elite, doctorate-level performers!

Over the weekend, we were treated to this fantastic blog by Dave Getz (davidgetzcreative @dave_getz) where he draws parallels between coaching sports and teaching music & mentions SRF in the process! We think you should check it out! 🤩

Well written article on a complex issue. Makes me want to read the paper it’s based on. Curious how other teachers feel about this. #homework
