@implausibleblog Chris, may not be aware that I co-wrote, with climate scientist Dr John Gribbin, an oratorio/musical predicting what is happening now back in 1984! 1984! And again at the Brighton Festival in 1990 with Tommy Boyd as narrator. Time we resurrected it with YOU AS NARRATOR!

@RMGLUCK2017 In 1969 I played piano for him for 3 sessions when he was preparing to audition for a musical. Never found out if he was cast or what the musical was. He wrote me a letter (attached) saying the audition went “quite well”. A thoroughly nice gentleman. RIP John.

Today is exactly 10 years since THREE BONZOS AND A PIANO played their final show at The Stables, Milton Keynes on 7/12/2014. This was the poster used for all our shows. Following the successful Second Coming in 2005 of the original Bonzo Dog Band, they made the decision in 2008

not to continue, leaving band members to go their own way. Roger Ruskin Spear, Sam Spoons (RIP) and David Glasson had previously been in a quartet together - "Tatty Ollity" - and decided to re-form. Rodney Slater stepped into his shoes and the rest is history.
