Club still have a lot of work to do in the transfer market. Result I don’t care about, it’s what’s in the result. Clear need for two more quality midfielders, a CB and an attacking LB at minimum.

I’ve never heard of GoLemon until I saw their post announcing they were shutting down.

Ironically, it was the comments that introduced me to the kind of company they were.

Someone shared that after being rejected for a role, they still received thoughtful feedback and a discount on their next purchase. They’re also actively helping members of their team find new opportunities instead of simply wishing them well with a recommendation letter.

That level of intentionality says a lot about the people behind the brand.

Businesses don’t always succeed, but character has a way of outliving companies.

I am wishing everyone at GoLemon the very best.

Whatever they build next won’t be starting from zero, they’ll be building on experience, lessons, and the goodwill they’ve earned.

She wakes up before him.
Changes his position so he doesn't get bedsore.
Checks his feeding tube. Manages his medications. Cleans him. Talks to him even when he doesn't respond the way he used to.
Then she goes to the kitchen, cooks, comes back, feeds him.
Does it again at noon.
Does it again at night.
Every. Single. Day.
No shift change.
No days off.
No one to hand over to.

And sometimes —
She snaps.
She says something sharp. Something cold. Something that makes people around her whisper "see how she's treating her own husband."

But nobody was there at 3am when she was turning him alone and her back gave out.
Nobody saw her cry in the bathroom so he wouldn't hear.
Nobody noticed she hasn't had a full night's sleep in eight months.
Nobody asked her when last she left that house for something other than a pharmacy run.
The resentment is not wickedness.
It is grief.
She is grieving the husband she knew before the illness.
She is grieving her own life, the one that quietly disappeared.
She is grieving the partnership that became a one-way responsibility.
You can love someone deeply and still be destroyed by caring for them.
Those two things are not contradiction.
