@DomShawEcho Their anger is really about themselves, no rules were in place when Leeds did it years ago, now there is, considering they've done it to multiple clubs, and who knows, more, it had to be sanctions, and one which would deter it happening again, no one will attempt again.

@ianbakersport It's interesting to the many ways Southampton fans are looking to try and excuse the club's actions, cheating is cheating. The punishment is correct, it hasn't cost Southampton 200m, you don't have it to lose, it's cost you the chance to win it.

@Bigalanh5 It would be refreshing to see Southampton fans actually acknowledge and accept their club has cheated on multiple occasions, with more possible, instead of suggesting the punishment is too harsh, any other sporting knockout tournament, if you cheat your disqualified.

@dettmer93 @EFL Southampton haven't had a 200M fine, there's no guarantee of winning a final, multiple clubs spied on, chances are there are more, Leeds was different as there were no rules then, a fine is no deterrent given how much clubs earn nowadays. Cheating is cheating.

@TomSaintsFC Unfortunately the Southampton fans have been bashing Middlesbrough, when they haven't done a thing wrong. Listen to what your fans were singing at the 2nd leg, it's always good to show a bit of class. All fans are always the innocent party.
