Meet Fiona Armfield - one of the 𝗠𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗘𝗗 people in academy football.

🔍 Fiona has spent the past 18 years at Chelsea and now serves as the club's Pre-Academy Scouting Lead and Grassroots Scout Manager.

🌟 Alongside her late husband, Tony Moss, who sadly passed away in 2020, she has helped identify and bring hundreds of talented young players to the club.

After discovering Jonathan Panzo and supporting him throughout his journey on and off the pitch, Jonathan's family asked Fiona to become his godmother.

Earlier this month, Fiona went viral after sharing a photo with Chelsea's latest scholars - Mahdi Nicoll-Jazuli, Andrew Pennie and Kwamina Ampah - three players she has known since they were just 5-years old.

Let's not forget that Zidane, the young man from Southern Kaduna, was arrested by the authorities, and sentenced to death for finding the courage to defend his community against Fulani jihadists.

He's still on death row in Kaduna prison.
