@jimmymcbride1 That was a quality day winning that

[Joe Bickerstaffe @jbickerstaffe_]

Really enjoyed stepping in and helping out @lowerbreck yesterday, really unlucky not to get something out the game. A great set up and group of players, staff and fans.

The Probe Services MOM went to @jbickerstaffe_ who came in to help out and under immense pressure stepped straight up…his save at 1-0 was as good as a goal and helped us build on the back of it…👏🏻👏🏻

Ruben Butt’s double delivered a 2-1 win for @ChesterFC in their #EmiratesFACup encounter with @lowerbreck.

The hosts kept their higher-ranked guests honest and were in the tie until the final whistle.

Shout-out to stand-in goalkeeper Joe Bickerstaffe - a fine cameo for Breck.

❔| Did you know?

First team goalkeeper, Joe Bickerstaffe, once represented @EnglandFootball in a futsal European championship?

Thank you to Joe’s relative, Jimmy, for reaching out and providing these photos!

35’ Brilliant again from an ever focused Bickerstaffe to come out and contest a loose ball - an Irlam corner follows and it’s a stupendous save at his near post!

There’s penalty appeals in our area as Ball clears it and a man goes to ground, but the referee waives.
