@jimmyjacktoth Records & tapes are so perfect for ephemera stashing - tickets, articles, photos etc. Also love getting a record with something in it from the previous owner, got a Dexter Gordon record the other day & his obit was stashed in the sleeve
@nakedfoul FFs are one of the most interesting bands from this era. They made some annoying records & some great records, I have never understood why Blueberry Boat is lauded cuz its not good. Live they always reinterpreted the songs & pushed the audience. Gem of a band
@BodegaPop And possibly a record youโll end up going back to even more than the ones they did after. Has an almost elusive beauty to it, one of my favorite Brazilian records!
@SlumberlandRecs No question! I bugged the Tower employees daily to see if You Trip Me Up had arrived after getting my mind blown by Never Understand. Finally one of them goes in the back & brings me a stashed copy of Upside Down which I didnโt know existed, โhere kidโ ๐คฏ
@GlennDonaldson They represented some possible new direction, Nothingโs Shocking wasnโt my jam really but I never hated when it was on at parties & they got in to the heads of a more rocker crowd in a cool way. Jane Says is one of those perfect simple songs
