My nephew is in Köln (Cologne) right now and we have eight people on an impromptu Zoom shopping for German steins at 3am in the U.S. Technology is a gift my friends. 😀 The Red Baron stein will be mine if I have to sell a kidney! 🤯💰💰💰
@BasedMikeLee@imUrB00gieman Yes I would. The debt spiral has been unsustainable for decades, not just the last five years. ………and let’s give credit where it’s due. There are plenty of “conservatives” in congress who vote to pass every spending bill.
@BeNiceNatasha The first film is as good as the second one is bad. Joaquin Phoenix is great. Russell Crow is awesome as well. The storyline is excellent. The second movie has been whispered about for months. Everyone knew this one was a pig. 🤦🏻♂️
@LorrieAnn25@RealAlexJones I really do empathize with the true believers. Politicians have two goals. Get elected and get reelected. You can tell that, 🦇 💩 as some of these rants are, the kids are legitimately scared. ……and it seems like there is going to be a lot of collateral damage this election. 🤦🏻♂️
@markbarkley15 Mountains of data showing that voters top concerns are the economy and the border. Tons of polling that showed Trump leading on the economy and the border. Juan Williams: Harris’ policies? Nah, definitely racism and misogyny.
@SpencerJCox@MikeLMower began with a prayer “……in the name of Jesus Christ, amen. Let’s go Brandon.” I found that to be grossly disrespectful to religious people and to the office of the president. I didn’t vote for Biden. I never would, but too many public servants seem to have forgotten why 2/3
@GemMediaGroup @soodrahul_06 In 1992 Bill Clinton came in 3rd in Utah. I don’t think she’s going to quite make the “50” mark. Oh, and Iowa is an MSNBC fever dream so you’re down to 48………
@WSJ What’s it going to be, racism, misogyny ………both? I dont suppose the WSJ will entertain the possibility that Harris has failed to define policy in any meaningful way and that is why she’s losing ground. Im guessing people’s profession doesn’t influence their vote either. 🙄
@PresidentPariah@pattonoswalt I was raised in a very strict family so I didn’t really watch horror movies until my forties. I love 80’s horror with the exception of Hellraiser. That is way too much latex for a 100 minute film. 😂
The sad thing about the official response to the peaceful protests with callous violence has been that even after clear public outcry, the insistence on increased taxation and more uptake of debt could continue this cycle of extractive administration.
Rather than focus on income protection for citizens and wealth creation through industry and business, the official response dwells on the "inevitability" of higher taxes to repay previously taken debt and the "unavoidable" uptake of more debt to keep the economy running.
Citizens will keep speaking up against wasteful non-essential spending by public officers and keep reporting ongoing graft cases involving the "loss" (re: theft) of millions and billions of taxpayer funds.
The call for good governance and accountability will remain indelible in the minds of all generations, not just the youth taking the brunt of unemployment and poorly functioning systems.
The push to export youthful labor cannot cure the local sabotage of the business environment that ought to thrive and employ the best skill in the nation. We have one home; it can't be run down as we watch.
@Britton65Sam Red: OK, we’re going with the guy who can’t get along with anyone because the blue team hates him and us.
Blue: It doesn’t matter how much our guy has enshittified things, you need to vote blue.
Me: I deserve better.
@bherrmann81 @profstonge I think it’s important to remember that last time, Adolf and company never gained any traction until the economy collapsed. For us, it isn’t just about our wallets, it can grow into the monsters of the 20th century and we are on the brink. 🤷🏻♂️
@douglasritz@profstonge So true, I remember 2008. One day things seemed okay, the next day the SHTF and the world was coming to an end. I know better now but I remember the perception back then.
