I don't often quote assignments but this one touched me. For a conflict mgmt assg, one response: "(a family member) sees no need for me to further my education because I am a woman, and where I come from, women are subjected to only marriage and to bear children"
After successfully stating her conflict mgmt strategy, she added: "I intend to gradually move on from this to finish my program and not only prove that I can do whatever goals I have set but to also prove that women can have it all"
Here's my discussion Colleen McCann, a Research Project Manager at @ConestogaC We talk about managing versus leading, and her use of Neuro Linguistic Programming concepts to enhance stakeholder engagement.

Was just reviewing a zoom recording that I made for a class and realized that I was waving my hands really close to the camera. Resulted in one of those effects that some movies do to remind you that you're watching a 3D movie... #remoteteaching
This has aged reasonably well but some positives:
- attendance is better, likely due to the commute time being eliminated
- breakout rooms very effective for class exercises
Overall, pleasantly surprised by the strong connection I've been able to make with my remote classes.
Classroom teaching is to Online teaching as Getting together with friends is to Zoom with friends.
Being online is ok, but being personally present is so much better.
@PBarrettPR This request was a tribute to the late great Eddie VH. The first 3 songs were 80s vintage but the final song was from only 5 years ago. Eddie looked great. Live every day to the fullest. https://t.co/NiIDAWNrit
So hard to do your own research online these days. You can find equally legitimate sources claiming the exact opposite about historic and current events, politicians, statistics, and even science. How are we supposed to feel anything but dazed? I miss Encyclopedia Brittanica.
