Nicola Sturgeon
2021 - I kind of communicate at a level where I assume a certain level of intelligence on the part of people listening to me.
2026 - I don't have any conscious memory of seeing that motor home.
The reason I became a “persistent critic” of the SNP leadership from 2017 onwards was that I became aware of ineptitude & a whiff of corruption behind the scenes. The backlash was very unpleasant but I’m proud to have been vindicated. It was worth it. https://t.co/lME8KZr3yC
Modern Britain:
Attacking police = no jail.
Rape = a measly fine and no jail.
Carry a machete = no jail.
Tweet something mean = jail.
What has happened to our justice system?
@STVNews The government should be investing in our farming, instead lectures, another way of a left wing globalist land grab....forcing them out of business.
Please click on this link below and listen from the start to this man talking about the care system in Scotland. I have known Duncan Dunlop for almost ten years and he played a huge part in supporting me and many others fighting for change in the way we treat people who are and were in the care system in Scotland and the hurdles they face when they leave the system and how easy it is for them to fall into addiction and crime and prison and early graves.. So many people have attacked survivors like myself for trying to expose and get everyone to recognise everything Duncan is saying here and the charities and organisations that are exploiting these kids in care and leaving the care system. I know having spoke to Duncan that many people tried to silence him as well. Here is the facts right here. The care system is broken he says and what happens as a consequence of that is it ends up breaking children. Fifty percent of children leaving care are not going to fulfil their potential and will have limited life chances and outcomes because of what happened to them in care. Almost all of these children were abused in one form or another. If we look at the incarcerated rate of people in prison, close to fifty percent are care experienced particularly among young offenders. We know that up until a few years ago that figure has been as high as seventy percent.Can you imagine if someone actually did a freedom of information act in the criminal justice system in Scotland and we found out just how many law firms allowed their clients to be sent to prison knowing they were brought up in the care system and suffered child abuse and werent afforded a psyciatric report? Just think about that for a moment and the huge saving of lives and money this would make? Why is everyone so afraid to question the Scottish justice system and why has nothing changed for decades. A huge percent of homeless people were also all in the care system and many speak openly about being sexually abused and having no where to turn. This is all part of the revolving doors that has been happening for years because no one stops to ask them how they ended up there? Listen to what Duncan says about the drug deaths, which is what many of us have been saying for years but when ex addicts and child abuse survivors/ campaigners who know what they are talking about speak out they are isolated and discredited and mocked. Duncan confirms what we all have been saying for years. Almost half of all drug deaths were people who were in the care system. We dont even track it. No one wants to hear these facts. We simply dont track the death rate of care experienced people, and the premature mortalilty rate is significant. It is utterly shameful and disturbing and all those people who call themselves drug campaigners who tell survivors and campaigners that they should shut up and go away need to take a good hard look at yourself and start asking yourself how you can be part of the solution and not the problem. You know who you are. As Duncan says we need to give Scotland that tough message that we all need to be a part of the solution and the solution lies in coming together not attacking care experienced people who are trying to point out the real significant damage you are doing by turning your back on your children. This system is systematically failing people across this country. We have to look at it again. We have not got it right and we all need to do more. We all need to get behind
@ThePromiseScot
In loving memory of all those children whose lives were taken or lost because of child abuse.
