A 46-year-old migrant man has been arrested following a disturbance and claims of a bomb on a bus at Kilblain Street bus station in Greenock, Scotland.

Police Scotland responded to reports of the incident after the man allegedly became agitated when his payment card was declined and made claims about having a bomb.

Officers arrested him on the spot. No explosive device was found and there were no injuries. He has been charged in connection with the disturbance and remains in custody.
