I see many PH new gen 'leaders' and cytros still not getting it.

It was never about Najib the man.

Sekitar jam 145 petang ini, semasa anak dan isteri saya memasuki kereta untuk meninggalkan sebuah pusat membeli belah di Putrajaya, secara tiba-tiba seorang lelaki mengheret anak saya dan mencucuknya dengan jarum suntikan.

Semakan menunjukkan dua orang lelaki yang menaiki sebuah motosikal telah mengekori kereta isteri saya. Pada hemat saya, mereka telah merancang serangan itu lebih awal.

Serangan itu melibatkan dua orang lelaki yang berpakaian hitam sepenuhnya dan bertopi keledar yang menutup muka keseluruhannya. Mereka telah menunggu lebih awal dan bergegas menyerang anak saya pada ketika yang sesuai.

Anak saya telah dibawa segera ke Hospital UPM untuk rawatan.

Pihak polis juga telah berada di tempat kejadian sejurus kejadian. Saya dan keluarga saya telah pun memberi kenyataan kepada pihak polis.

Sebarang maklumat lanjut mengenai kejadian, siasatan dan keputusan pemeriksaan doktor sewajarnya dikeluarkan oleh pihak polis dan Hospital UPM.

Saya ingin mengucapkan jutaan terima kasih kepada pihak PDRM dan Hospital UPM yang telah membantu keluarga saya melalui kejadian ini.

Sepanjang saya menjadi seorang ahli politik berprofail awam, inilah kali pertama keluarga saya menjadi sasaran serangan dan ugutan seperti ini. Saya percaya serangan ini adalah satu amaran kepada saya supaya tidak bersuara lantang dalam beberapa isu tertentu.

Terima kasih kepada semua yang telah menghantar mesej dan bertanya khabar.

Insya Allah, sementara saya akan mengambil langkah susulan untuk meningkatkan kawalan keselamatan, saya juga tidak akan tunduk kepada sebarang ugutan dan akan terus menjalankan tugas saya seperti biasa.
