Tried to go to my office Christmas party this past weekend, couldn't get out of the car. The anxiety about people asking me how I am doing, how the kids are, and her not there was overwhelming. #grief#widowed#anxiety
Fifteen years ago tonight, I got engaged to Bonnie on a stormy night similar to tonight. It's hard to believe I won't be able to celebrate with her this year. #Grief#widowed

Waiting in line for 10 minutes to get into the IWK parking garage and no cars are getting in. I call the switchboard and was told by a security guard that the lot was full. You know what would be helpful? A sign that lights up when the lot is full. Make it easier on patients.
Today is another hard day. I not only miss my wife but I miss what we didn't get to do. This upcoming week, the kids and I are doing something we always wanted to do as a family. I'm not sure if I am strong enough to enjoy it without her. #Grief
