@PearseDoherty EVERY tracker rate mortgage holder knew rates were going to rise and keep rising until the ECB decide to stop. Why didn’t these people lock in to a long term fixed rate at 1.96/2/2.1/2.35/2.5/2.75/2.95% (pick one!) which was available from their provider? Why?
