Self Pity leads to Pride. Pride leads to Anger. Anger leads to a loss of self-control & a loss of contentment.
It’s not about you. It’s all about God. Just be humble.
Accept Criticism. Address Conflict. Award Mercy.
Victorious living and effective soul-winning service are not the product of our better selves and hard endeavours, but are simply the fruit of the Holy Spirit. We are not called upon to produce the fruit, but simply to bear it. It is all the time to be His fruit.

-Richard Baxter, The Reformed Pastor
Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.— 1 Thess. 5:18

Romans 9:19-20 ESV
