I'm not likely to evaporate soon, but Twitter likely will. I'd love to connect elsewhere. I'm on insta @daveskoster(rarely), and now mastadon https://t.co/wrWVRxk2r9 you can find me and my gloriously long hair at @[email protected]
Somehow, and totally expectedly. @DoorDash has ripped off my kid. He’s working a manual job @ 10-14 hours per day and today ordered a meal that couldn’t be delivered due to ‘technical difficulties’ then, instead of refunding, DD, concluded he cancelled to late and kept his money.
Wow. @google collab is fucking hot garbage. Imagine paying for a platform that you have to fucking PAY to reload a bunch of libraries only for none of it to work because the file system is set up like a 1000 piece puzzle, and you STILL have to execute programs locally. POS.
@gomer2323@Google It has been a minute! I’m drowning in grad schools stuff and work and haven’t been around much. But I can’t tell you how big of a smile I’ve got to see your reply.
@UrbaniteAlaska I’ve mostly given up on this place. Only pop out every now and then to see if anyone is still about. Lots of notifications for content that I’m not interested in.
@agnesbookbinder He does like it so far, usual college BS about getting classes and housing and stuff, but in all I’m impressed with classes and it does seem like a chill campus.
@agnesbookbinder He’s down at OSU in Corvallis now, and seems to like it. What really helped was visiting schools. Never thought I’d be on of those parents, but we did …
@ArcticGoddess @gomer2323 Wow that’s super expensive. We’re bringing ours from Corvallis, OR. He’s going to have to get on a bus for another 100-200 round trip to PDX, but all in all, feels like we’re getting off easy.
@ArcticGoddess @gomer2323 Holy moly!!! Where are they coming from?! That seems real expensive. I got ours home for 20K miles + < $200 we booked a few days ago.
