@thinkgreen350 No. Tantalum is a mineral in cell phones that, if mined in places such as Rwanda, may finance wars and other violence.

[Dave Tosto @davetosto]

@thinkgreen350 The problems seem to be less environmental than economic - smuggling, as well as currency and price controls may be to blame.

[Dave Tosto @davetosto]

@thinkgreen350 Lake Mead near the Hoover Dam. Unfortunately, I don't think candidates win or lose based on their stance on the environment.

[Dave Tosto @davetosto]

@thinkgreen350 We should never compromise the health of the environment for financial gain. If drilling does that, then I'm against it.

[Dave Tosto @davetosto]

@thinkgreen350 The Paris Agreement, deals with reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The United States signed in December, and India will soon.

[Dave Tosto @davetosto]

@thinkgreen350 The "Cap" sets a limit on gas emissions, and the "Trade" lets companies make pollution-reducing innovations profitable.

@Brynn_Welch_17 @Ethanhayes285 It's pretty cool. Maybe more appropriate for your middle schoolers than my high schoolers though.

[Dave Tosto @davetosto]

I'm intrigued by the Prezi technology. Can't think what I would use it for yet, but it seems like a good tool #TeachTechS16

[Dave Tosto @davetosto]

Otherwise their online presence could come back to bite them when it's time for college admissions. #TeachTechS16 https://t.co/OLwOtkLPSq

[Brynn Welch @Brynn_Welch_17]

Digital etiquette definitely needs to be taught. We want our kids to leave good digital footprints! #teachtechs16

[Dave Tosto @davetosto]

Our students need to know digital etiquette, or thinking about how their presence on digital media will make others react. #TeachTechS16

[Dave Tosto @davetosto]

My best tool for improving productivity is keeping an updated calendar https://t.co/8Q6mzm9pJD with events and due dates #TeachTechS16

[Dave Tosto @davetosto]

Teacher productivity is efficiently accomplishing all the tasks required of us as teachers. #TeachTechS16

[Dave Tosto @davetosto]

The UDL aspect I most often neglect is multiple means of engagement. Presenting content in not just one way takes effort! #TeachTechs16

[Dave Tosto @davetosto]

I really appreciate rubrics as a student, so I am definitely going to provide them for my students. #TeachTechS16 https://t.co/4YPaknOrXP

[Christopher Tully @cwtully]

Rubrics are great because they let students know EXACTLY what they need to do on an assignment! #teachtechs16

[Dave Tosto @davetosto]

iPad apps like this one can help kids with Autism communicate with teachers and other students #TeachTechS16

[Dave Tosto @davetosto]

Teachers: you are less likely to get in trouble under fair use if the content taken is non-fiction, and published #TeachTechS16

[Dave Tosto @davetosto]

Wow, I had no idea. This is going to be something that I'll have to remember and watch out for #TeachTechS16 https://t.co/q9CDfLUrb5

[Dave Tosto @davetosto]

To be honest, I never really experienced much difference in assessment due to technology. It was just scantrons all the way #TeachTechS16

[Dave Tosto @davetosto]

I like kahoot for slightly younger students, because the visuals/sounds seem less serious #TeachTechS16 https://t.co/eZ5nRXOs4S

[Christopher Tully @cwtully]

Kahoot! is a great assessment tool! It's quick and easy, allowing immediate feedback and change! https://t.co/Iv6TBQj1zS #teachtechs16

[Dave Tosto @davetosto]

@MrKampfHistory Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Seems silly to keep adding, eventually it will be every subject.
