@DigginBrigham I just don’t think a lot of high quality upperclassmen RBs are looking to come be a clear second back to a bell cow back who also plays with a QB who gets quite a few carries.
Elder Holland made an enormous impact in my life. He and President Hinckley were the first two that deeply connected with me as a young man. The way he spoke of the Savior made me want to know Him more. It started a lifelong pursuit of Him. I’ll miss him a lot.
With heavy hearts, we announce that President Jeffrey R. Holland, President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, died today at approximately 3:15 a.m. MST from complications associated with kidney disease, while surrounded by his family. He was 85.
“My total responsibility … is to bear witness of the Lord Jesus Christ,” President @HollandJeffreyR said hours after he was called to be an Apostle in 1994. “As inadequate as I feel, it is the most pleasant and most rewarding and most thrilling assignment a man can have in this world.”

@LivingTricks_ Impossible to know from the info provided. Peter had $200k, may have spent $50k and now has $150k. Or maybe he spent it all and Fiona has the most with $10k. Impossible to know.
@texpat1307@LuxWade@DanIsett@Rustolla76 To be clear, your argument is that it’s worse to lose to a top 4 team twice (once in a CCG) than it is to lose to two unranked teams and not make your CCG in a year a 7-5 team won it? That’s where you want to plant your flag?
@DoctorOskiMD@on3@CharlesPower You're free to think that. You might be right. I don't agree and that's ok. People do care about actual stats, but if you don't, enjoy.
@DoctorOskiMD@on3@CharlesPower Ok, so team success and actual numbers aside, you just like him better. That's fair. Doesn't make it true, but have at it.
My proposal to fix CFB 🧵:
1) the 2 CCG participants from the top 6 conferences make the CFP. No at-large bids based on subjectivity.
2) there is another tournament for the next 6 conf CCG participants.
3) Each tier 1 conf is linked to a tier 2 conf. In the same region.
Everyone can get access via promotion/relegation. Brand bias is eliminated because committees/human element is removed.
Networks can still make their money via two great tournaments.
Who says no?

Cap conferences at 10 teams and everyone plays every other team in conference.
We need to return to smaller, regional conferences. Super conferences are ruining a sport I love. We also need to eliminate corruption and bias. No more hand picking winners.
